The International Partnership for African Development (IPAD) successfully organized a  Bootcamp from February to March 2026, bringing together participants interested in strengthening their data analysis skills for both academic research and professional applications.

The bootcamp focused on two of the most widely used tools in modern data analytics: Python programming and Microsoft Excel. Participants were introduced to how these tools are applied in data analysis, research projects, and workplace environments, helping them better understand how data-driven methods support decision-making across different sectors.

The program was delivered in collaboration with two technology training organizations. The Python sessions were conducted by Techtribe Global, where participants were introduced to foundational Python programming concepts and practical approaches to data analysis using Python. The sessions emphasized how programming can support data cleaning, analysis, and interpretation in research and professional settings.

The Microsoft Excel sessions were conducted by Keywebtech Solutions, focusing on essential Excel functions used in data analytics. Participants learned techniques for organizing datasets, performing calculations, analyzing trends, and presenting data through charts and other visualization tools commonly used in academic and workplace contexts.

The bootcamp was supported by Code Ghana Youth, whose contribution helped facilitate the organization and successful implementation of the program.

Throughout the bootcamp, participants engaged in guided learning sessions designed to provide practical, hands-on knowledge on how these tools are used to manage and interpret data effectively. The training emphasized real-world applications, demonstrating how data analytics supports research, reporting, policy analysis, and organizational decision-making.

At the conclusion of the bootcamp, participants were awarded certificates in recognition of their participation in the IPAD Data Analytics Bootcamp. These certificates acknowledge their engagement in the training program and the skills they developed during the sessions.

A sample of the certificate awarded to participants is attached to provide an example of the recognition received by those who completed the program. The certificate includes the participant's name, the title of the training program, and confirmation of their participation in the bootcamp organized by IPAD.

The following participants were awarded certificates for their participation in the bootcamp:

  • Felix Nkuah Asante
